We met on a kickball team in Washington DC during the summer of 2019. We got to know each other from the post game happy hours at Kelly’s Irish Times. From there we were friends for a couple of years and then started dating in 2021. Scott first met the Synks eating Maryland crabs and immediately felt welcomed into the family. Lauren met Scott’s family in a variety of places (Springfield, VA, London, and Cape Cod). After two amazing years we moved in to our first DC apartment in 2023. The next November Scott proposed at one of our favorite hiking spots in Rock Creek Park. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our marriage with you all in June!!
